Pet Sitting (Overnight In Your Home)

This is a great option if your pet isn't suitable to stay at the Pathfinder Dog Ranch. Our pet sitting staff members are permanent employees, who are licenced, bonded and insured with Pathfinder. Our staff treat your home with care, we respect your privacy and want your pet to enjoy the comfort of its home while enjoying our companionship and personalized attention. 

 

For pet sitting service, a Pathfinder staff member will stay overnight in your home with your pet(s). This service covers at minimum a 12 hour period overnight.

 

Rates for Overnight Pet Sitting:

• 1 Pet Household - $65.00 per night

• 2-4 Pets Household - $75.00 per night

• 5-6 Pets Household - $85.00 per night

 

For dogs, we suggest you book one of the following services during the daytime, so your pet isn't home alone during the day:​

ADD-ON DAYTIME SERVICES FOR PET SITTING CLIENTS:

• Pet Visit (15 minutes / 30 minutes)

• Private Dog Walk (30 minutes / 45 minutes)

• One hour off-leash group walk including shuttle (best value for well socialized dogs)

Rates for Add-On Daytime Services (discounted for pet sitting clients):

• Pet Visit - $20 /15 minutes

• Pet Visit - $25 / 30 minutes

• Private Dog Walk - $20 / 30 minutes (+ $5 for additional dog in the same household if walked at same time)

• Private Dog Walk - $25 / 45 minutes (+ $5 for additional dog in the same household if walked at same time)

• 1 Hour Off-Leash Group Walk - $20 / hike inc. shuttle + $20 for each additional dog in the same household​

* $10 Stat Holiday Surcharge. Rates subject to GST and can change without notice. All invoices are due in full on your first day of service. 

* No extra charges for administering medications if given within pet sitting times/visits.

Requirements:

• A preliminary screening interview with you and your pet to ensure it's a good fit for everyone.

• Complete Pathfinder's intake form and client agreement.

• We will require access to your home (key or code).

• If your dog is participating in an off-leash group hike, your pet must be up to date on its vaccines and preventative flea treatment (copy of vaccine certificate or Titre test required).

• Access to WIFI during pet sitting.

• A bed and clean bedding for your pet sitter.

• All indoor cameras be disabled for staff's comfort level and personal privacy during pet sitting stays.

• You are not required to provide food, snacks, or drinks for staff during pet sitting. Our priority is caring for your pets and we are hired as a professional service.

• Pet Visit - $25 (base rate) /15 minutes

• Pet Visit - $30 / 30 minutes​
